Payment scenario
Example: a monthly plan
A fictional project-management tool bills teams monthly.
- 1
A team administrator subscribes and pays the first month with
recurring: true. - 2
The approved callback includes a recurring token, which the tool stores against the team account.
- 3
On the renewal date, the tool's billing job creates a new payment with the stored token.
- 4
If the payment is declined, the tool notifies the administrator and keeps the account in a grace period it defines.
This is a hypothetical example to illustrate a payment flow. It does not describe a Rainbow Pay customer.
