How payouts work
Your server creates a payout with the amount, currency, your order number and a callback URL. Rainbow Pay processes it under your configuration and reports the outcome by callback. Payouts draw on your available balance, which you can check through the balance endpoint.
Business use cases
Payouts are assessed per use case during onboarding. The purpose of the payouts, the type of recipient and the corridor are each reviewed before anything is enabled, and only the combinations approved for your business are available through the API.
Compliance comes first
Payouts move money, so they are subject to the same due diligence, screening and monitoring as the rest of Rainbow Pay's services. Recipient information requirements depend on the corridor and method, and some payouts may be held for review.
